More images from the book 𝘾𝙪𝙗𝙖 𝙗𝙮 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙖, which contains a selection of images by the photographer best known for his iconic image of Che Guevara, this time of 𝐅𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨.
𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶́𝗮𝘇, otherwise known as 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚, produced many iconic images of the Cuban leader. When Fidel Castro visited the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 in April 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟗, Korda was part of the team sent to cover the trip. He captured activities such as Fidel’s visit to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, producing a striking image of the event. He also accompanied Fidel on his visits to the 𝐒𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 in 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟑 and 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟒.
